Revised "United in Worship" book leaves out chapter on blood???

in 2002 we got the updated version...was it any different?

1980 - United in Worship-

Chapter 19- What does the Mosaic Law mean to you?

Chapter 20- Life and Blood do we treat them as sacred?

Chapter 19- Continue to speak of God's Works

Chapter 20- Keep close in mind Jehovah's Day.

Why the change? If you read these two chapters they are very right-wing. The one on the Mosaic Law tells us none of the laws are binding on christians...but you should follow them anyway on principle. E.g Tattoo's, are not banned for christians but were for Jews, so you as a christian can't get one.

The chapter on blood basically says you should die rather then take blood...then you will have everlasting life. This embarrassing doctrine will not be covered in detail with baptizm candidates from now on.

Japan closes 638 Congregations!!!!! Why???

japan since the 1970''s has had amazing publisher increases!

every year the number of witnesses shot up by many thousands.

this peaked in 1998, since then the number of witnesses and congregations has continued to drop!.

1998- Pubs 222,912 Congs. 3,802 {6 Years later}

2004- Pubs 217,555 {-5,357 Pubs} Congs 3,164 {-638 Congs}

Over 6 years what happened to the 5,357 publishers and 638 Congregations!! This is a mystery like the Burmuda triangle. Do you have any theories?

wasnt tempted myself during the acutal ceremonies; however: the sister whose husband used to supply the wine for the memorial in the 70's; well her son's would be round the back of the khell after the memorial supping it!!!

they were only about 12/13!!!.

always wanted a sipp myself after the annual ordeal but was scared mum and dad would find out.. shell.

here is part of my story until i have more time.

i am know 30 years old, i have been married for almost 9 years to someone who has no relgous ties at all.

i was baptized when i was 19 due to pressure from my family, they wanted me to to get baptized when i was 16. i think i may hold the record for most comitee meetings probably about 20, i was publilcly reproved and disassociated.
